Checking Installation Status

Checking Installation Status

To verify if the installation has been completed successfully, we need to check if the installed file exists in the program files and is running.

Standard

  1. "MyzenV2.exe" must exist at the following location:
    1. \Program Files\Zenstack\MyZenV2\MyZenV2.exe
  2. Open ‘Task Scheduler' from Start menu. In the Task scheduler library, there should be a job/task called myzen-updater

Stealth

  1. "MyzenV2s.exe" and "keyconfig.json" must exist at the following location :
    1. \Program Files\zs\zs\MyZenV2s.exe 
    2. \Program Files\zs\zs\keyconfig.json
  2. Open ‘Task Scheduler' from Start menu. In the Task scheduler library, there should be a job/task called zs-updater
  3. If the files exist, Please open Task Manager and check if the following apps are running:
    1. Standard: MyZenV2.exe 
    2. Stealth: MyZenV2s.exe
  4. Press Win+R. Type ‘msconfig’ and press Enter. Go to 'Startup'. There should be an entry for "MyZenV2s"
