At first glance, you will see the list of categories on the right and the list of application policies on the left. The mapping and application policy are at the top.
To set productivity rules, you need to map work by creating policies and mapping applications and URLs.
Mapping
You will see the list of applications and URLs browsed by your employees. In every row, you will see the dropdown showing categories. You can mark the app/URL with the category that fits in. We have provided three tabs with All/Mapped/Unmapped for instant and easy mapping.
Application Policy
This is to create different application policies for different departments and teams and mark the categories as productive, unproductive, and neutral. This will help you save the time of repetitive mapping apps/URLs for each employee rather you can just mark the application policy that fits the particular team to map time spent into productive/unproductive/neutral time.
Steps to map work:
Click on ‘Mapping’ to map URLs.
You will see the list of URLs used in your organisation; then, using the dropdown, you can map the URL by selecting the category you want.
Then come back to ‘Application Policy’ and create a policy for the team by grouping the categories together and individually denoting them as productive/unproductive/neutral.
Now associate the policy you have created with the corresponding team under Settings/Teams
This will associate the team with the application policy, and the categories denoted as productive/unproductive/neutral per the policy will be applied to all the team members.
