The Screenshot feature automatically captures screenshots of employees' systems at predefined intervals exclusively during their punched-in hours. Once an employee punches out from MyZen, screenshots cannot be captured. The snapshot frequency is adjustable, ranging from 5 minutes to 2 hours, with 5 minutes being the minimum snapshot interval, resulting in 12 snapshots per hour. Users have the flexibility to disable screenshot capturing for any employee based on their preferences.
With each captured screenshot, a detailed analysis is provided, including app usage details, key presses, mouse clicks, and the activity level for the preceding five minutes. Users can download bulk screenshots for a specific date or opt to download individual screenshots.
The Screenshot feature is organized into three tabs: "All Screenshots," "Flagged," and "Flagged by Me."
"All Screenshots" serves as the primary screenshot dashboard.
"Flagged" exclusively displays screenshots marked as flagged by any manager or admin account.
"Flagged by Me" showcases screenshots flagged by the currently logged-in manager or admin account.
Users can access screenshots using the Teams, Users, and Date filters, enabling the viewing of screenshots for any user on any date.
The Screenshots dashboard is divided into two sections: the left side (Users list) and the right side (grids of screenshots). On the left, there is a list of employees, allowing users to select the specific user for whom they want to view screenshots. On the right, a grid of screenshots for the selected date appears. Each screenshot thumbnail includes a timestamp, activity level, flag, and download button, enabling users to gauge the employee's activity level, providing tangible proof of their work.
Clicking on any screenshot provides deeper insights, including:
Applications/URLs used and their duration.
Additional activity details, such as the number of key presses, mouse clicks, and activity percentage.
Zoom functionality for a closer examination of the screenshot.
Options to download the screenshot or mark it with a flag for reference.
