Getting Started with MyZen: Everything You Need to Know (Employee Guide)

Welcome to MyZen: Your Personal Work Companion!

With MyZen Standard, you can manage your daily work routine smoothly, from tracking work hours to taking breaks and viewing your productivity insights. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you understand each feature and how it supports your workflow.

Getting Started with MyZen

To begin, open MyZen and enter your workspace name, this will redirect you to a webpage where you need to enter your email ID, and password. Once logged in, you’re all set to start using the app.

Important Tip: We recommend staying logged in to MyZen. Simply Punch In at the beginning and Punch Out at the end of your day. This way, you’ll avoid the hassle of re-logging every day.

Punching In and Starting Your Day

At the beginning of your workday, click ‘Punch In’ to start tracking your working hours. You can punch in when you start work and punch out when you finish. If you need to step away, you can use the break option.

When you punch in, MyZen’s timer will begin recording your time so that you can later view your working duration. This feature helps you stay mindful of your work hours and ensures an accurate record of your daily work.

Taking Breaks

Throughout the day, it’s normal to need breaks to recharge. Here’s how MyZen makes it easy:

  • Click ‘Take a Break’ whenever you need to pause your work.

  • You’ll see a list of available break options (e.g., Lunch, Tea, Meeting, etc).

  • Select the type of break you want and then click ‘Request Break’. This will start a countdown timer for your chosen break type, giving you a set amount of time to rest and return refreshed.

Ending a Break:

When you’re ready to get back to work, simply click ‘Resume Working’. This stops the break timer and resumes your workday tracking.

End Your Day with Punch Out

When your workday is finished, click ‘Punch Out’ to end the day’s tracking.

This action stops the timer and records your total working hours for the day.

Why Punching Out Matters:

Punching out is just as important as punching in. It ensures that your work hours are accurately recorded and gives you a clear end to your workday. You’ll also see a summary of your daily working hours in your personal dashboard, helping you keep track of your productivity over time.

Open Dashboard – Your Personal Workspace Overview

Clicking on the Open Dashboard button takes you to your personal dashboard, a dedicated space where you can view your projects, tasks, manual time entries, and detailed analytics about your workday.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll find in your dashboard:

  • Projects and Tasks give you a clear view of what you’re working on and help you keep track of your progress.

  • See all the tasks assigned to you under each project, making it easy to manage your workload and stay organized.
